Immersive Experience
The Sony Telepresence Room (SG-3DTP4000) provides a fully immersive experience that is far superior to the flat screens of other telepresence systems. In particular, the transmitted people appear to be physically in front of the back wall of the room as if they were present on the other side of the table.

Undivided Group
Whereas other systems have their remote groups divided between several plasma monitors, the Sony Telepresence Room system generates a large undivided image of the group in the remote location. This allows for flexibility in the placement of seating and the ability to display people as they stand up.

Meeting with Eye Contact
The multiple screen telepresence systems on the market have an inherent problem with the misalignment of eye contact. However the Sony Telepresence system achieves direct eye contact aligned between conference participants.

Multi-Site Collaboration Suite
An optional desk with seating for five people incorporates up to three 42" LCD monitors with images superimposed through a beamsplitter for display of multiple locations and collaboration between users.
